KL as a melting pot of the multicultural and tradition being together.
Visited some Malaysian friends, to their houses, were the truly tour in KL for me. Knowing them from a close distance. Thanks to Kak Hamisah, also Kak Maryam who was driving us to the friend's houses, enjoyed the picked rambutan fruits from her garden, bite some perkedel Jagung (fried mashed corn), and enjoyed hot tea; happy to know kak Zihan, visited Kak Hamisah's and Amir's house (the eldest son of kak Hamisah) and thanks for the sate lontong yang sedap, so delicious..
Sunny and rainy days were almost everyday with me, during my stay here.
Making a real Malaysian Batik was a wonderful experience; I met Dianne from California who take classes with Mr. Lazim, the guru/in Malay language.
While visiting Royal Selangor --pewter or tin maker in Setapak 15 minutes from KL was a nice day. I love it, because I have been learning how to make silver jewelry, so, for me I have got another knowledge.
The modern meet the traditional, saya suka, especially the traditional one. Exploring the Little India near the KL Sentral, and trying the original Nasi Kandar -- which I just knew from another Malaysian friend in Yokohama, June Rahim, concluded my days here.
Putrajaya, with its 5000 ha, home of the Malaysian Government offices
, is one another interesting attraction.
Various style of architectures, influenced by different cities in the world, has made Putrajaya becomes an attractive tourism hotspot in Malaysia.***
